I was seriously sick of some of my friends telling me that Selena Gomez sucks and that Taylor Swift is better, so I searched "Selena Gomez Sets", wanting to find someone who might understand why I liked her. And I came upon a collection made by the lovely @speechlessforsparkles, of which all her sets were of Selena, so I spent like the next half an hour liking her sets coz they were pretty amazing :)
So then she messaged me and we started talking, and she's been one of the best Polyvorians I've met :)

Yeah, yeah, I know! I’ve been away for AGES!!! I have two reasons:
1.I’ve been super busy, and especially lately, when it’s kinda ‘hit’ me that grade nine isn’t gunna get any easier unless I actually start studying, so I’ve been spending my time actually studying, and I’ve started to catch up, and I’m feeling much more confident with my grades!
and finally 2. I’ve had no set inspiration! None! Zero! Zilch! Nil! Nein! Neit! Non! iie! I have no more languages in which I can say ‘no’ and ‘zero’ in! So ya, das why I’ve been absent!

ADVANCED MATHS, AND IT’S MY BEST SCORE YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah, okay I know 84% sounds really lame, but considering it’s Advanced Maths, and how much harder it was than last years maths (when it was weighing in for advanced AND mainstream) and my last test I got 70%, I’m actually quite proud!

Anyway, that’s my life right now!! :O
Not a lot has happened I suppose! At school today we did this awesome thing called “Hot Body Yoga” (this was in Dance class by the way… not like, infront of the WHOLE school…) and it was sooooo good! It’s supposed to be done in like a room that’s 30 degrees (Celsius… not Farenhight… that would be cold!!!) so you sweat heaps, but we did it in quite a cold room, but none the less, still was awesome! Haha!
And yesterday, at Tae Kwon Do, we were learning how to dodge a knife attack, and we had like these fake knives that we were practicing with and what to do, and I managed to “escape” a few times!!! Haha :P
 
So yeah, I suppose I better update you on Harrison Craig…….
 
so he’s made it through to the final (YIPPEEEE) and it’s on Monday, and I absolutely CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He’s in with Danni Ross, who has the most unique voice, and Celia Pavey, who is like the ANGEL, and of course, the one, the only Luke Kennedy, who is the most versatile singer in the world!!! I actually kinda think that Luke should win…….. but then again Harrison is good, and so is Danni, and Celia……………………..
I CAN’T DECIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, last week, Harrison sang his original song called “More Than A Dream” and it was so.damn.GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn’t cry then, but I just watched it again on my laptop and I was sorta in tears…………………………………….
He made Ricki Martin cry, and his mum was crying too…. It was incredibly cute!
The title of the set is actually my favourite part or the song, which it the bridge, and I think it’s the most powerful part of the song. He also sang “Unchained Melody” and that was gorgeous too!
So yeah, he’s doing pretty well, currently Number 1 AND 2 on iTunes!!!
Also, today, on Instagram, The Voice was posting photos and they posted pics of Seal who made cupcakes that were decorated with Harrison’s face……………….

Annoying habits you have?
Haha where do I even begin? I have OIOD (Obsessive iPod Organisation Disorder) where when I download new songs, I have to make sure the title is exactly correct, the track number, the album, the album image, EVERYTHING!!! Meaning if I download a song from YouTube, called “Selena Gomez & The Scene – Who Says – Lyrics in description”, I won’t put it in like that, I have to make sure it’s Who Says by Selena Gomez & The Scene and what not! It takes twice as long to update everything but whatever!! (Now if only my room was that organised!!!) I also start to swear when it’s REALLY REALLY cold! Like it’ll be cold, and I’ll be swearing my head off, not angrily, but just incorporating a few cuss words every 5 words or so!!!!!!! It’s weird, I know……………..
 
Best childhood memory?
Hmmmmm…. Maybe when we lived in Melbourne when I was like 4, and I used to play with this girl who lived opposite the road from me on the playground (although that stopped when she fell off the bridge and her mum didn’t want her hanging around me anymore….) and maybe riding on my dads shoulders through Queen Victoria Market, and also learning to ride a bike…. That was fun! :P

Describe your room?
Okay so it’s quite small, but the walls are mint green, and as you walk in on the left wall theres a massive 5 tier wooden shelf which has my books and magazines and random souvenirs and presents and photos, then right next to that on the corner wall is my desk which has heaps of stuff!! Haha then next to that is my bed, then on the next wall is my window and my curtains have like blue, mint, green and white roses, then on the next wall is my wardrobe :) it’s kinda like a rectangle :)
 
Extra curricular activities?
I do ballet, tae kwon do with @amaljen and I play piano as well, plus I do school netball in the winter and swimming in the summer, and maths club (sarcastic *woo hoo*)!
 
Future plans?
Visit 30 countries, meet Selena Gomez, meet/marry Harrison Craig, become a successful lawyer/doctor, get at least 90% in one of my maths tests this year, pass Year 11 & 12 exams, learn how to sing well, pass my piano exams, pass my ballet exam with at least 60%, go to Uni with my friends, own a pair of high heels, go on a massive shopping spree, get my drivers licence and get a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower with my friends while holding a finger under our nose that has a moustache drawn on it! (103 days until that actually happens!!!!!)

Okay, true fact, I can walk on stilts! Back at my old school we had a bunch of stilts laying around and everyone at the After School Care program would just go and play on them and we’d walk on them and have a competition on who can do the most steps! I won sometimes! :D

Hey everyone!
Nobody is allowed to make fun of this set, I am not having it today!
Okay.
So I’m kinda pissed, because my Instagram account got deleted, for “Violating the privacy terms of this site” which I have no freaking clue what that means, but whatever. I made a new one, and the link is below, as well as the links to my Pinterest, Twitter and Ask.Fm thingy.
So, got that out!
How is everybody? I’m good! Got back from an AMAZING school trip yesterday! We went to this place where all the convicts from Britain came down in the 19th Century, and had a ghost tour (which I almost shat myself on, it was so creepy, but it was so so good) at like 9pm, and stayed in cabins with some amazing girls watching some weird version of “Titanic” which didn’t have Leonardo Di Caprio in it, so we were sad, eating Tim Tams, having competitions of who could skull milk the fastest and staying up to like 12:30 having really weird conversations! It was quite the excursion!
This morning was awesome! I played my first netball game of the season, in which we lost dramatically with some insane number to one (Yay me for scoring our only goal!!), but that’s okay! Then, I umpired my first official netball game. It was quite nerve-wracking, because last week I did a practice umpire with a teacher by my side on the Under 18’s netball game, and I was very shy and didn’t pull much up. Today was much easier and more fun because I was actually umpiring the Under 14’s, so I didn’t feel weird because I wasn’t telling girls 3-4 years older than me what to do. It’s actually quite interesting how much you learn about the game, and I had fun pulling up some of the girls. The scary thing that you have to get in your mind is that the players have to listen to you. If you argue with the umpire, it’s not good (haha yes, I’ve been there before). I always have to remember that when I get pulled up, I often don’t notice that I did something wrong, so I just have to constantly remember that they probably didn’t notice as well, so they won’t hate me! But again, it’s so much easier with girls who are younger than you, even if it’s only by a year or so. I definitely recommend umpiring your sport, especially younger teams, because you honestly learn so much.
 
Anyway, I wanted to tell you guys a little something.
So today I was talking with my parents, and I was kinda sad that one of the girls off The Voice didn’t reply to me on Twitter, even after I told her she was like ‘so beautiful’ or something along those lines, and my dad actually said something that I thought was pretty cool. He said “Lana, right now, you’re grey. Those people you are writing to, they don’t want grey. They’ve been grey all they’re lives, and they want to see other colours.” And despite being sorta harsh (well not really, but depending on what your parents usually say to you, it may/may not be harsh for you), I actually thought that what he said was so cool. I also went on YouTube and Twitter and Instagram after that, and noticed how many girls, just like me (okay, no one can be quite as weird as me, but you get the picture) are writing to Harrison Craig, saying things like “Please marry me Harrison I’m you’re biggest fan” or “I love you so much I want to die” and just things like that. They all sound the same, and I kinda realised that I sounded the exact same as them. And I didn’t get upset, I didn’t cry, I didn’t write that I voted for him 19 times or that I know where he lives or that all these girls are wrong, that I’M going to marry him. I just kinda realised that, until I make a mark in this world, with a colour that is different to grey, I’m not going to achieve much. And my dad was right in the sense that, these people have been grey all their lives, and now they have the chance to stand out and be a different colour, and they don’t want to see grey again. Even though they say that “Your wealth of support is amazing” or some other crap like that, deep down, they don’t care, because we’re all grey. So now, my goal in life isn’t to marry Harrison Craig or something like that, but it’s more to become something other than grey.
 
Ahhhh Lana!! I re-read all that just then and I sound so “deep”!

So hello my darlings! How is everyone? I'm good :)
Watching Harrison Craig on YouTube, how can I not be good? :D
 
Anyway, thought I should share something with you :)
So, if you remember in a previous set ages ago, I mentioned I wanted to read some new books, rather than the whole "unpopular girl finds out she has some supernatural power, meets cute boy, falls in love, there's some sort of complication and they can't be together, they eventually get through it, they live happily ever after and love each other more than life it self" (no wonder girls have such high expectations when it comes to love!!!)
So yeah, I found some books, and am currently reading one of two that I bought. The first one I read was called "Before I Fall" by Lauren Oliver, and it's about a girl who died in a car accident, but then she wakes up that same morning and has to relive the day of her accident 7 times before she realises that the reason she died wasn't just a random car accident! What made this book different was that this girl was popular, she was going out with the most popular guy at school, she hated anyone below her rank and she had everything, she just didn't realise it. So yeah, it was so different to all the books I've ever read and I loved it. So if you need a new book to read, there's one :)
Second book I'm currently reading is called 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, and actually the only reason I've heard of it is because there was a rumour that Selena Gomez was starring in a movie version of it (so far though, no progress on it...)
It's about a girl who commits suicide and leaves a tape for 13 people naming why they played a part in her death, and so far (I haven't gotten very far) the story is set from the perspective of a guy who liked her when she was alive. And actually, what I found really interesting is that Jay got the idea for the book when he was taking an audio tour at a museum when he found it weird how the lady on the speaker was describing everything he saw, even though she wasn't there!
So yeah, if you guys are sick of the whole "unpopular girl finds out she has some supernatural power, meets cute boy, falls in love, there's some sort of complication and they can't be together, they eventually get through it, they live happily ever after and love each other more than life it self" (come on, lets face it, I can name at LEAST 12 books along those lines, do you dare me?) than I really recommend those books :)
 
Ahhh, so it's school holidays :)
I left my maths folder at school, and my maths assignment is due first day back! And some how I managed to take my Australian Studies folder home, which I don't even need!!! It's like someone hits a genius button on me!!!
Speaking of that, pretty sure some hits one of those on me when I work!!! Haha I'm so embarrassing, I'm all like "Oh Lana, lets spill the vinegar all over the floor, oh Lana, lets drop a bowl of soup in front of everyone, oh Lana, lets smash a glass in front of everyone, lets knock over 20 glass bottles, lets screw up an order Lana..."
hahahahaha I'm an embarrassment :P
But it's okay, it makes for some amazing stories right? :D
I've learnt not to take many things to heart now, so I just laugh half the time :) Makes me happy ;D
 
Haha, so I'm thinking of maybe going to do a photoshoot or something to begin my blog, but I probably won't, but then again..............

Okay, be prepared for more weirdness....
GUESS WHAT (now pretend you're a puppy... actually don't, I just got a disturbing image in my mind)...
It's nothing exciting mind you....
ANYWAY!!!
Do you know, what I just did?
Just spent the last hour, going through Harrison Craig's Facebook page, crying every time someone posted anything along the lines of "I Love You" or "You should marry me".
I think I need help.
Really truly need help.
 
Whatever!
Anyway, today was my first day at work since the summer holidays, and I was having a heart attack for like the whole time, every time I had to bring a customer their meal (I work as a waitress).
Reason is last time, some woman yelled her face off at me. At our café, when we serve desserts, we put like a sprig of mint on it for decoration. So I bring this lady her dessert, and she's like:
"I can't eat that, it has mint on it."
and I was like:
"It's okay, you can take it off."
So this lady, sitting there, starts yelling like a lunatic (okay so not quite that loud, but it was still scary) and saying like "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, I CANNOT AND WILL NOT EVER EAT MINT PERIOD! YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE WELL THINK AGAIN! YOU ARE SO RUDE, NOT PUTTING MINT ON THE MENU, THI IS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I'M EVER COMING HERE!" and all that, and another lady whose sitting next to her is all like "Don't worry, you can just take it off." And the lady keeps going off, demanding another one, so I go back to the kitchen and ask for another one, which I get yelled at for, and the chef rips off the mint and is all like "she can shove that mint up her a*se" and I'm on the verge of tears!
So now, I try to avoid going out all together, not to mention that I screwed up a table number today, walking straight past the table, and forgot to light the candle on one of the meals.
 
OHMYGOSH.... I need help....
 
Anyway, I was wondering, if Harrison Craig ever read this, I wonder what would go through his head? Something along the lines of "Girl, you a lil' bit cray-CRAY?" (Say that in a Nicki Minaj voice and click your fingers in front of your face, makes it so much more funnier than it feels like). Or maybe he'd just die of laughter, because some RETARDED CHICK IS INSANE!!!!!!!
 
Not surprised if someone sends him a message on Facebook saying "hey check out what some retard is writing about you" and send him the link...
 
OHHH SOMEONE SHOULD DO THAT, JUST SO HE CAN MESSAGE ME TO EFF OFF, AND THEN I CAN HAPPILY GET OVER HIM AND EVERYONE LIVES HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!!
